| Sharon Currier Presents at Premier Building Industry Events
Sharon Currier, President of Currier & Associates, Inc., was recently a featured presenter at two premier annual building industry events. Each Boston-area event drew housing-related industry leaders involved in the development, construction and design of single family, multi-family, and age-targeted properties. At the Second Annual Northeast Regional Fall Symposium on November 3 and 4 at Gillette Stadium Conference Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Sharon presented "Keys to Effective Merchandising." Her presentation focused on designing merchandising models for the affordable housing marketplace. The event was sponsored by the 50-Plus New England Housing Council of the National Association of Home Builders. Sharon also presented "Housing For Elders: Design Trends and User Preferences" with a panel of industry experts at the 20th Anniversary Build Boston Expo, sponsored by Boston Society of Architects at Boston's World Trade Center on November 16-18. Her discussion focused on key interior design considerations for the 55+ active housing market as well as trends in the assisted and independent living markets. She emphasized the evolution of "universal principles" regarding interior design of housing that facilitates healthy and independent lifestyles for today's aging population.
