CURRIER & Associates Expands Design Team

Newburyport, Mass.—May 24, 2008—CURRIER & Associates, Inc., a full-service interior design firm specializing in creating enriching environments for living, healing and working, today announced the addition of three new designers.

Janis Luedke, senior designer, Kristin R. Naumann, project designer, and Amanda Greaves, project designer, have recently joined CURRIER to support the company’s growth, particularly within the senior living and health care markets.

Luedke brings to CURRIER 25 years of experience in all aspects of interior design, from project planning, design, management and specification to execution. With in-depth expertise within health care, Luedke has created healing interiors for a number of major hospitals, including Massachusetts General Hospital and Children’s Hospital, for which she developed a finish standards program. She also specializes in sustainable design and is highly skilled in color consulting.

Prior to joining CURRIER, Luedke was an associate and senior interior designer for Steffian Bradley Architects in Boston. Previously, she was an administrative manager at HKS Architects in Santa Monica, Calif., and an interior designer for Architectural Alliance and Stewart Romberger, both firms located in Los Angeles, Calif. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with additional certification in interior design from Colorado Institute of Art. Luedke lives in Natick.

Naumann brings more than 16 years of experience as a versatile designer who has designed for clients within institutional, retail and residential markets. She has participated in projects which have ranged from major zoos and museums to the headquarters for a major pharmaceutical company, utilizing her creative and advanced architectural and exhibit design expertise. Most recently, she co-founded Fishbrook Design Studio. Prior to operating this business, she worked at Main Street Design in Cambridge and, previously, Elkus/Manfredi Architects Ltd. in Boston. She is a graduate of Smith College with a bachelor of arts, and Rice University, with a masters of architecture. Naumann resides in Boxford.

Greaves is an organized, focused, and detail-oriented interior designer with 8 years of experience creating environments for health care, institutional, multi-residential, commercial and residential clients. Her design work includes a law firm, an art school, a hospice, major hotels, an active adult community and a variety of residences. Prior to joining CURRIER, Greaves was a project designer and project manager at Siemasko + Verbridge in Beverly. Previously, she worked at Hughes Design Associates in McLean, Va., as a senior project designer, and Sultana & Associates in Sarasota, Fla. as an assistant interior design consultant. She is a graduate of Marymount University with a major in interior design and a minor in fine arts. Greaves resides in Topsfield.
