Dear Reader,

Staying abreast of "trends" in creating enriching interiors and sharing our knowledge with clients and readers is always fun for the CURRIER design team. These trends increasingly extend beyond the aesthetic beauty of an environment to include long-term sustainability. Demand for "green" elements in design, for example, continues to rise as consumers become more concerned about respecting the resources of our environment. And, as a nation buckling down to meet new economic challenges, we are finding more evidence of thoughtful, long-term planning even within our own homes. When designing a new kitchen or a new room, clients are seeking products that last longer or that accommodate the growth of a family. With these trends in mind, we chose articles that reflect some of the new functional requirements of our clients.

Enjoy!

Choosing a countertop is an opportunity to let your personality shine in the kitchen you’ve designed, so remember to enjoy the process!” Casey Caruso
