Senior Designer “I have found that dynamic and creative design teams consistently produce beautiful, functional and profitable projects.” Melanie is a versatile creative with a strong intuitive sense of what will work. She uses an objective approach to thoroughly understand a client’s overall needs and interests which is paramount to the ultimate success of a design. A graduate of Syracuse University, Melanie’s experience includes major hotel and restaurant interior design work, and a multitude of healthcare and senior living projects, as well as residential design projects.
Project Designer “A team is more than a collection of people. It is a process of give and take, selflessness, and acknowledging and praising the contribution and skill of others." Casey does extensive vendor research and coordination to facilitate design development, floor plan production, and specification documentation. She understands the importance of consistent client communication and working with reliable vendors. A graduate of Endicott College with a B.S. in Interior Design, Casey’s unique ability to multi-task, listen carefully to the needs of others, and maintain a disciplined approach ensure project consistency and excellence.
Katie Pease
Designer “Team work involves every person putting in an equal amount of effort to create a result that is above what was expected." Katie’s career with CAI began in her senior year at Endicott College working on specification documents, furniture layouts, presentation boards and installation activities. Her educational and internship experiences provided her with a solid understanding of design re-quirements and process for institutional, residential and commercial clients. These experiences reinforced her understanding and appre-ciation for the importance of consistent client communications and working with reliable vendors. Following her graduation, with a B.S. in Interior Design, she joined our team as a design assistant. As a member of CAI’s design team, she conducts extensive vendor research and contributes to the development of design, floor plan production and specification documentation.
Project Manager “Creating a collaborative culture among team members has always been a priority to me, particularly in managing complex construction projects where the individual contributions of each party are essential to the whole process working smoothly." Sarah, a LEED certified project manager with a passion for helping clients create sustainable designs, offers more than 26 years of demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams, large budgets and critical schedules for corporate and commercial clients. She has worked both privately as a facilities manager and has operated her own business representing owners during the planning, implementation and completion of relocation and construction projects. Sarah has overseen projects as technical as a clean room in a water fabrication facility to a state-of-the-art learning center. She has an MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from University of Maryland. In addition to being a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Sarah is a professional member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA).
Kristin R. Naumann
Design Accessory Specialist "Being a member of the CURRIER team is an opportunity to contribute to the energy of positive, empowering and talented thinkers to create a shared outcome of excellence. The enthusiasm and growth is contagious!" Jane has more than 20 years of industry experience, including ownership of a decorating services firm, management and buying for a retail shop, and design coordination with a regional custom home builder. Jane supports the team on a variety of projects, from accessorizing the space to coordinating a communications project. Jane is dedicated to sharing her design knowledge and project management experience in support of the CURRIER team and our clients.
